No Feathers Allowed – well maybe just a couple!

I have been really enjoying the quilting for the “modern quilts” .  My friend Cindy, from the Quilted Garage has really been an inspiration for me to try more of this style of quilting.

So I had a customer bring me a king size Labyrinth Quilt.  (The Labyrinth Quilt is designed by Debby Maddy of Calico Carriage Quilt Designs).  Several asian style fabrics had been used and this quilt was not going to lend itself to my love of all quilts must have feathers!  As I let this quilt “talk” to me and kept hearing my “inner Cindy” talk to me I knew what needed to be done!  Fear not – there is a feather or two in there, but they are very few in number.  I hope you will enjoy this quilt!

  1. Absolutely beautiful quilt Denise. Great job incorporating your feathers into this modern quilt.
